Charles W. Gray, Jr. brings over twenty years of legal experience to Kodner Watkins. He conceptualized, built and managed a successful general practice law firm that represented a diverse range of clients before administrative hearings and in courts, including litigation in over one hundred and eighty different courts across five states while representing numerous multi-state corporations.
He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Colorado at Boulder and attended law school at Sturm College of Law at the University of Denver. Mr. Gray’s unique experience in the secondary structured settlement market has put him in a position to drive a range of structured settlement and estate planning services as a leading authority in the industry. He directly assists his clients in structured settlement transfers by presenting contracts for sale and transfer of annuities in a manner that consistently results in Court approval.
Mr. Gray also provides expert testimony and analysis of the structured settlement industry, providing consulting services to numerous factoring companies, investment firms, and insurance companies on matters related to structured settlements, including negotiating terms of contracts for transfers and stipulations.
Other areas of practice include criminal, complex general civil litigation, risk mitigation, commercial agreements and business formation/organization.
Mr. Gray is an energetic collaborator with a personal commitment to driving community impact events through numerous charity functions including founding and leading an annual community pub crawl fundraising event and other charitable functions.
