He regularly drafts simple Wills and Estate Plans for young married couples as well as complex, multi-generation Trust Agreements for wealthy families. He assists individuals with the needs of their closely held business, including business formation, completing transactions or regulatory compliance, or selling, transferring, or acquiring business interests.
As a natural and proximate result of his practice and personality, Bryan forms and develops client relationships that will span decades and generations. His honest, warm, and personable character instills peace of mind and confidence in his clients while they navigate, often for the first time, through the intimidating and confusing legal environments of their personal interests or business concerns.
Bryan is a second-generation attorney from Alton, Illinois. Consequently, his legal education began informally from an early age. In this formal education, he studied Accounting at the University of Illinois, one of the nation’s preeminent Accounting institutions, to compliment his intended legal career. Thereafter, he returned to the St. Louis area to study and eventually practice law. Building on his education in Accounting and Business, he earned a “Concentration in Tax Law” and a “Certificate in Employment Law” prior to graduation from Saint Louis University School of Law. Ever the academic, Bryan recurrently publishes and lectures on topics related to estate and wealth planning, corporate governance, taxation, and professional responsibility and ethics.
